Captain Andrew Walsh was born and raised in New York City and moved to Las Vegas in 1998, leaving the New York City Police Department behind to join the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. He currently serves as the Captain of the Downtown Area Command.

Captain Walsh has been married for 15 years to his wife Janeen and is the proud father of his daughter, Emma who is seven years of age.
