Christina Moon

Christina Moon is the Vice President of Programs and Development at Miracle Flights, a national nonprofit organization providing flights for sick children and their families in need of distant specialized medical care. In her role, she is responsible for program expansion efforts by identifying and cultivating outreach opportunities in an effort to help more families in need. Additionally, she creates and manages all fundraising opportunities, events and efforts.

Having joined Miracle Flights in December 2013, Christina brings with her outreach and resource development experience from other nonprofit organizations including Keep Memory Alive, supporting the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health; the Muscular Dystrophy Association — Augie’s Quest division in support of ALS research; and most recently with Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada. She began her career in the gaming industry with Circus Circus Enterprises in Internal Audit and at MGM Resorts International in
Corporate Benefits, when her commitment to community volunteerism led to a transition into the nonprofit sector.

Born in South Korea, Christina has spent nearly all of her life in the United States, growing up in Southern California – and for the last 30 years, as a proud Nevadan. She earned her B.S. in Finance and Accounting from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She loves to read, learn new things, and travel including long road trips through national parks. Her true love and passion for her nephew, Juno.
