Elizaveta Golikova moved to Las Vegas from Russia in 2006. After completing her Bachelor’s degree in 2008, Elizaveta began her management career in the event industry.
While getting her Master’s degree at UNLV, she discovered her passion for nonprofits. She has identified a need for an air quality nonprofit in Las Vegas and is working on launching it in 2019.
Elizaveta also runs a social media platform called Social Impact Events, which is the only source of its kind for inspirational events in Las Vegas. It can be found by @socialimpactlv handle on Facebook, Instagram & Twitter.
Through her platform, Elizaveta launched Social Impact Mastermind, which is a monthly gathering for Las Vegas change-makers who are striving to make a difference. It was created to unite local female entrepreneurs, nonprofit professionals & social justice activists in order to give them an opportunity to share and brainstorm social impact ideas. Social Impact Mastermind is also a platform that’s intended for sharing better business practices, leadership development strategies and latest business tools to help its members grow and succeed. The link to join the mastermind can be requested by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Elizaveta also serves as a Vice Chair on YNPN (Young Nonprofit Professionals of Southern Nevada) board of directors, where she is focused on engaging and supporting future nonprofit and community leaders through professional development, networking, and social opportunities designed for young people to get involved in the Southern Nevada nonprofit community.
The Jameson Fellowship focuses on leadership and recognizes individuals – of diverse ages, races, backgrounds, sectors, and organizations - for their contributions to southern Nevada. The Fellowship is an investment in relationships and aims to build a solid and connected leadership base across the nonprofit sector.
