Magda Hirsch

Magda Hirsch, Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships, is a graduate of The New School University’s Milano School of International Affairs, Management, and Urban Policy where she earned a Master of Science degree in Nonprofit Management. Magda’s professional career spans nearly three decades of leadership roles across Europe and North America with organizations including Warsaw University (Poland), New School University’s Graduate Faculty of Political and Social Science (New York, NY), Goodwill of Southern Nevada (Las Vegas, NV), and Foundation for Recovery (Las Vegas, NV). She is a successful nonprofit leader with experience in accreditation reviews, grant writing, managing grant-funded programs, volunteer program development and management, and community relations. Magda gravitates towards organizations that work to empower, advocate, educate, transform, remove the stigma, harness the power of belonging, and foster greater inclusivity. This passion has been shaped by her personal experiences. Whether working in the higher education administration, workforce development, or substance use/mental health recovery fields, Magda is energized by like-minded people who find happiness in helping others. As part of her life-work balance routine, Magda enjoys playing with her dogs, traveling, hiking, camping, practicing yoga, sitting silent meditation retreats, and cooking.
