Niko Centeno-Monroy

As College Access Program Manager, Niko is able to empower and shape the brilliant young minds of Southern Nevada as they pursue a path towards higher education and life beyond. Since graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2013 with a Bachelor’s in History and Social Justice, he has pursued a career in education and has worked as a teacher in various capacities for the district and the non-profit sector. In that time, he also had the privilege of earning his Masters in Education from UNLV. Niko also organizes arts-related events in the Arts District and Downtown communities and is actively involved in the local music scene. Niko is an avid sports fan, loves to train and run, reads a lot of books, and loves spending time with his 5 year old puppy, Shadow.
