Ella DiSabatino

Ella DiSabatino is the Director of Local For All, a community-driven social enterprise and holistic resource center created to financially support and expand the programs and partnerships of The Cupcake Girls. Inside this safe and inclusive space, the people of Las Vegas will feel welcomed to shop, eat, work and receive the support and resources offered by The Cupcake Girls and their partners.

Throughout her career in nonprofit management Ella passionately worked for nonprofits working to create social change but quickly became exhausted by the idea that so many organizations bend their mission in order to get funding to remain open and continue serving their communities.

After completing a Masters in Nonprofit Management from The New School, she focussed her work and studies on how nonprofits can create alternative funding while maintaining their integrity and continuing to grow their mission. After moving to Las Vegas Ella met Joy Hoover, Founder and CEO of The Cupcake Girls and learned about the way this innovative nonprofit in the community was changing things up.

Ella believes that lasting social change is about changing and dismantling systems which have failed or wronged us or our community. Awareness of issues is incredibly important but only through activation can we truly achieve lasting change. In order to activate our communities, we need engagement, communication and to cross cultural, social and economic divides.

Ella is incredibly honored and excited to be taking on this project and cannot wait to show Las Vegas and the world what nonprofits can do when they innovate and create their own path towards systemic social change.
