Janna Velasco serves as a Development Officer for Three Square Food Bank. As Southern Nevada’s largest hunger relief organization and only food bank, Three Square provides wholesome meals to more than 164,000 individuals each month. Janna’s current contributions build upon the central focus of her eclectic professional experience, cultivating relationships, as she connects corporations and individuals to meaningful opportunities lift up the Las Vegas community via Three Square’s mission. Janna joined the organization as Volunteer Operations Manager moving to her current role in August of 2018.
Her personal drivers of compassion and collaboration fall perfectly in line with her current work and lend understanding to her academic choices to date as Janna holds an interdisciplinary Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, Sociology and Psychology from UNLV. She lives in Henderson with her husband and two children enjoying in her free time travel, photography and music.
